Ours is a diverse and inclusive community that鈥檚 large enough to challenge and inspire you鈥攜et small enough for you to feel connected, supported, valued, and truly known. Our nationally ranked campus provides the perfect place to learn, live, grow and features an accredited arboretum and nationally ranked residence halls. In fact, 80% of students choose to live on campus through senior year.

Gain relevant, valuable experience

More than 80% of Loyola students participate in a practicum, internship, and/or field experience prior to graduation; 70% of students also have a leadership experience before they graduate. Our liberal arts core curriculum and first-year living learning program afford high-impact learning practices from day one. Most Loyola students are additionally involved in student-led clubs, organizations, programs, and extra-curricular activities that further provide critical skills and competencies.

More than 60% of students study abroad during their junior year, and more than 70% have an international experience before they graduate. Loyola offers study tours during the academic year in addition to summer and winter programs to provide a diverse offering of global opportunities for all students of all academic majors. Loyola鈥檚 office of international programs further supports international activities on campus throughout the academic year.

Baltimore-Washington, D.C., is the 4th largest metro area in the United States and provides easy access to internships, networking and job opportunities, cultural experiences, professional sports, world-class culinary scenes, music and the arts, and nightlife鈥攏ot to mention easy trips via plane, train, or bus. Loyola students have the chance to explore Baltimore through programming and academic curricula, often with faculty and through our Messina program, throughout their time at Loyola.

The Greyhound pack is 67,000 strong, and the Loyola alumni community is part of the broader, global Jesuit community鈥攚hich includes nearly 200,000 enrolled students, 19,000 faculty, and more than 2 million alumni.
